The Trump administration and Republicans in Congress are jeopardizing the healthcare of millions of Americans.

They’ve slashed Medicaid by $1 trillion, putting coverage for more than 11 million Americans at risk. At the same time, they’re working to dismantle the Affordable Care Act and weaken Medicare, threatening care for seniors and families. To make matters worse, Trump is playing politics with critical medical research funding, jeopardizing life-saving progress in the fight against cancer, Alzheimer’s, and other major diseases.

I’ll stand up against Republican efforts to gut Medicaid, Medicare, and the Affordable Care Act. In Congress, I’ll fight to expand access to affordable quality care and protect coverage for people with pre-existing conditions. I’ll also support restoring federal investment in groundbreaking medical research because fighting diseases like cancer and Alzheimer’s should never be a partisan issue.
