The Trump administration is using the power of the presidency to make life harder for millions of Americans, punishing communities like ours that have stood against his politics of hate and division. Republicans have enabled his agenda at every turn, and too many Democrats in Congress have failed to meet this moment with the urgency it demands.This is not the time for politics as usual. This moment demands leaders who are willing to fight with everything they have to protect our rights, our freedoms, and our future. I am stepping up because I believe Georgia's 13th District deserves better. There is so much at stake. But if we believe, if we fight, and if we keep moving forward, there is nothing we cannot achieve,&nbsp;together.

His mother, a medical billing clerk, spent her days fighting insurance companies to make sure patients could receive the care they needed. They did not have much, but they had each other, and that made all the difference.In 2006, seeking a better life, Ron’s family moved to Clayton County, Georgia. Just months later, the Great Recession hit, and it hit hard. His parents lost their jobs. The home they had worked so hard to earn went into foreclosure. It was a devastating blow, but it did not break them. For Ron, it was never about chasing prestige. He was chasing a chance to make life better for families like his own.After graduating from law school, Ron worked as an attorney, helping businesses navigate their most complex challenges so they could keep the lights on and grow. He also dedicated hundreds of hours to pro bono work, standing up for people who did not have anyone else in their corner. When the pandemic turned the economy upside down, Ron used his business training to help companies face the uncertainty, stay open, and keep workers on the job.<h4>He knows what it takes to lead under pressure. He knows what it takes to deliver for working families. Now he is running for Congress to bring that same fight, that same focus, and that same urgency to Washington.</h4>

<h3>The Trump administration has launched a deliberate attack on the rights and futures of women across America.</h3>They have slashed funding for family planning clinics, stripped federal research dollars from women’s health initiatives, and targeted diversity and inclusion programs designed to open doors in education and employment. They helped overturn federal protections under Roe v. Wade and continue to support state efforts to control women’s bodies and deny them basic freedoms. Meanwhile, America remains one of the most dangerous places to give birth in the developed world. The crisis is even worse for Black women, who are nearly three times more likely to die from pregnancy-related complications. That is unacceptable.In Congress, I will fight to defend access to safe, legal abortion and contraception, restore investment in women’s health and research, and stand up against discrimination in every form. I’ll also push to expand access to maternal health care by funding more OB-GYNs and midwives, especially in underserved and rural communities, because no woman should risk her life to bring a child into the world.

Too many Americans are working harder than ever just to stay stuck in place.It doesn’t have to be this way. The economy should reward hard work. In Congress, I’ll fight for a living wage because no one working full-time should have to struggle to make ends meet. I’ll work to expand paid family leave and access to universal pre-K to give working parents the support they deserve. I’ll back tax relief for the middle class and small businesses and I’ll invest in job training and apprenticeship programs so workers are equipped for the jobs of the future.

They block common sense gun reforms, ignore mental health needs, and leave everyday Americans hanging to deal with the consequences.In Congress, I will fight for real solutions to make our communities safer. That means investing in violence prevention programs that stop crime before it starts, rebuilding trust between law enforcement and the people they serve, and expanding mental health and youth support services. I will also stand up for common sense gun safety reforms, because no family should have to live in fear when they step outside their door or send their kid to school.

At the same time, they’re working to dismantle the Affordable Care Act and weaken Medicare, threatening care for seniors and families. To make matters worse, Trump is playing politics with critical medical research funding, jeopardizing life-saving progress in the fight against cancer, Alzheimer’s, and other major diseases.I’ll stand up against Republican efforts to gut Medicaid, Medicare, and the Affordable Care Act. In Congress, I’ll fight to expand access to affordable quality care and protect coverage for people with pre-existing conditions. I’ll also support restoring federal investment in groundbreaking medical research because fighting diseases like cancer and Alzheimer’s should never be a partisan issue.

And it means investing in mentorship and community programs that offer connection and guidance.
